The Bachelor of Nutrition Study Program at Andalas University (UNAND) is part of the Faculty of Public Health. This program aims to produce graduates who are competent in the field of nutrition, both for communities and individuals, with a focus on preventing and addressing nutrition-related issues, improving nutritional status, and promoting health.
Graduates of this program are expected to work in various sectors, including healthcare services, research, education, and the food industry. The curriculum of this study program covers fundamental nutrition science, biochemistry, dietetics, food science, as well as various clinical and community practices.
Focuses on addressing individual nutritional issues, including dietetic management, nutrition-related diseases, and nutrition counseling
Addresses population-level nutrition problems, such as stunting, anemia, obesity, and maternal and child nutrition
Explores aspects of food processing, food safety, and functional food innovation
